Junior Poetry Prize 2010

Congratulations to Mark Russell, winner of the 2010 Junior Poetry Prize, for his collection of poems on the set theme 'Creatures'. Alexandra Boyd Crotty and Rishi Manuel also receive book tokens for their fine entries.

'The Eye of the Tiger' by Mark Russell

The eye of the tiger,
Alight with passion.
The stripes of the tiger,
Vibrant with life.
The paws of the tiger,
Heavy and strong.
All hanging limply,
On a dimly lit wall.
