Last night Professor Terry Dolan from UCD gave another bravura performance while lecturing to VI and V pupils on the subject 'The Language of Education'. He examined the derivation of words from Greek and Roman times up to the present day, and then answered a battery of questions from the audience on a huge variety of words.
