As reliably as Santa Claus, the Christmas edition of the Library magazine 'The Submarine' has just come down the chimney. This all-colour edition features editor Tom McConville's always interesting and amusing editorial musings (on how to recommend books to pupils), a list of some of the many new books in the Library this term, poetry by Sadhbh Sheeran, a review by Dr Garry Bannister of Reverend Horace McKinley's new book, As I Said ... an Ordinary Priest Reflects, several pages by David Sowby, OC, on 'archaeology' in the College, our own account of the recent launch of the photographic Portrait of the College and lots of 'What's Reading Me' contributions from First Formers.
